When energy- and emission-centric ideas like methane leak management, high-speed rail, high-efficiency heat pumps, and nuclear energy are discussed prominently as climate solutions, it can be challenging to see where pharmacists fit into action on climate change. In this series, we’ll thus be discussing different proposed climate solutions and sustainability initiatives that are readily actionable and prime for engagement by pharmacists—and we hope that, if you’re not sure where you can start in your advocacy for a more sustainable future, these provide a “jumping off” point for you and your colleagues.
